On Wednesday, April 24, The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators arrested 24-year-old Jonathan Carroll for Possession of methamphetamine and tampering with evidence.

Investigators conducted a traffic stop on I-59 at mile marker 1 for a traffic violation on the vehicle, Carroll was driving.

During the stop, Investigators conducted a search of the vehicle after receiving consent from Carroll.

Investigators located methamphetamine inside the vehicle and that Carroll attempted to conceal and destroy it after being stopped.

Carroll was transported to the Pearl River County Criminal Justice Facility.
