Pearl Police Arrest Seven After Months-Long Narcotics Operation

The Pearl Police Department announced today the arrest of seven individuals involved in the illegal sale and distribution of narcotics following a comprehensive investigation by the department’s Narcotics Unit.

The months-long operation resulted in the execution of multiple arrest warrants and the seizure of various illicit drugs, including pharmaceuticals, crystal methamphetamine, and fentanyl.

According to Pearl police, the operation was a coordinated effort involving multiple divisions within the Pearl Police Department, along with the help of the Richland Police Department, Ridgeland Police Department, and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.

“This is part of our ongoing mission to combat the sale of illegal drugs and reduce drug-related crime in our community,” a spokesperson for the Pearl Police Department said.

Here are the individuals arrested and their charges:

  • Bruce Smith (Pearl, MS): Sale of a Controlled Substance (x2)
  • Joseph Rabon (Pearl, MS): Sale of a Controlled Substance within 1,500 feet of a church
  • David Bradly Scott (Pearl, MS): Sale of a Controlled Substance within 1,500 feet of a school
  • Ryan Harper (Pearl, MS): Sale of a Controlled Substance within 1,500 feet of a movie theater (x2)
  • Jonvel Lewis (Pearl, MS): Sale of a Controlled Substance (x2)
  • Kaleb Ingram (Pearl, MS): Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Nicholas Sanpaulin (Pearl, MS): Sale of a Controlled Substance

The Pearl Police Department said this is part of a broader initiative to disrupt drug networks and protect the safety of residents.
