Chris Mack was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Tuesday.

A wanted fugitive from Panola County has been arrested in Pontotoc County by United States Marshals, officials said.

Christopher Mack was wanted by the Panola County Sheriff’s Department for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was featured earlier this month on the department’s Facebook page for “Wanted Wednesday.”

On Tuesday, he was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Officials say he had been living under an alias.

Mack is now at the Panola County Jail under the name his mother gave him.
