A Panola County employee was arrested Thursday on allegations of embezzlement.
According to a release from the Panola County Sheriff’s Department, Shaquille Conrad was the subject of an investigation into misuse of official county funds that began in July.
On Thursday, Conrad was arrested and charged with Embeszzlement of Public Funds.
A post from the Panola County Sheriff’s Department says county investigators have informed the State Auditor’s office.
The Sheriff’s Department says the investigation is ongoing.
