An Oxford man has been arrested on check fraud charges in a September incident.
According to the Oxford Police Department, on September 22nd, officers responded to a business in the 1900 block of University Avenue for a report of a fraudulent check.
After some investigation, Michael Austin Grose, 26, was arrested and charged with one count of False Pretense.
Grose was taken before a Municipal Court judge for his initial bond hearing and issued a $20,000 bond. We would like to thank the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department for assistance in locating Grose.
