On Sunday around 10:34 a.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Interstate 10 in Harrison County.

A 2011 Toyota Sienna driven by 41-year-old Laura Rose of Mobile, Alabama, traveled west on Interstate 10 when it collided with a 1994 GMC Pickup driven by 80-year-old James E. Lizana of Pass Christian, also traveling west on Interstate 10. Lizana received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
