On Tuesday, September 5, at approximately 5:43 a.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a multiple-vehicle crash on Highway 84 in Jones County.

A 2006 Dodge Ram driven by 43-year-old Rodriquis Brown of Taylorsville, MS, was traveling east on Highway 84 when it collided with a 1995 Chevrolet Pickup driven by 36-year-old William Herrington of
SOSO, MS, also traveling east.

After the collision, the Dodge crossed the median and collided with a 1999 Ford Ranger driven by 25-year-old Keith Lewis Jr. of Waynesboro, MS, traveling west on Highway 84.

Then, a 2019 Kia Sorento driven by 38-year-old Quenesia Worsham of Waynesboro, MS, traveling west collided with the Ford.

The drivers of the Chevrolet, Ford, and Kia were transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.

Rodriquis Brown was killed in the crash.

This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
