UPDATE: Deceased victim identified in Sunday night shooting in Warren County

UPDATE: Warren County Coroner Doug Huskey has released the name of the 18-year-old killed in a shooting in Warren County Sunday night.

Korey O’Neill Sims of Vicksburg was killed around 9:30 p.m. when he was shot by an unknown shooter in the 100 block of Abraham Drive, according to Warren County Sheriff Warren Pace.

Three others were injured, though Pace says it appears their injuries are not life-threatening. Two of the injured are from Fayette, and one is from Vicksburg, he said.

Investigators are currently still interviewing witnesses and canvassing the neighborhood. Pace said it’s too early to release some information in the case, but that more will be released at the appropriate time. A shooting in Warren County left one dead and three injured overnight, according to reports.

Neighbors told officials that a group of people were sitting on a porch at a home on Abraham Drive when a person allegedly approached and opened fire.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Department is investigating this case. This is a developing story.
