An Okolona man was arrested in Tupelo on several charges.
On December 28, the Tupelo Police Department served a Lee County Circuit Court Alias Capias Warrant on 34-year-old Floyd Bogan Jr. for Possession of Weapon By A Convicted Felon, Felony Fleeing, and DUI 3rd.
This warrant is about a 2019 case in which a suspect fled after police attempted to perform a traffic stop for a traffic violation.
The suspect was found to be in possession of a firearm after previously being convicted of a felony and driving under the influence.
Bogan was ordered to be held without bond by Lee County Circuit Court at the time the capias was issued. This case is awaiting trial in Lee County Circuit Court.
