CLINTON – The City of Clinton will hold its Citywide Fall Cleanup from Saturday, Oct. 10, through Saturday, Oct. 17.
The cleanup will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., except Sunday, Oct. 11, when the site will be closed.
Residents can use the event to dispose of unwanted household items, yard debris and other approved materials. Proof of Clinton residency will be required.
The city said several items will not be accepted during the fall cleanup, including electronics, refrigerators, freezers, air-conditioning units and hazardous materials.
A separate E-Waste and Hazardous Waste Disposal Day is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24, from 8 a.m. to noon at 525 Springridge Road.
That event will accept electronics and household hazardous materials, including paint and pesticides.
City officials are encouraging residents to take advantage of the cleanup period to clear out unwanted items while following the disposal guidelines.
