According to WMC, a mother turned her two sons into the Holly Springs Police Department after a shooting Tuesday morning.

Police told WMC that two 17-year-olds and one 18-year-old are detained.

The shooting incident happened on Tuesday just after 4:30 a.m. An officer tried to make a traffic stop but the driver refused to stop and got onto I-22 westbound towards Memphis.

Police say that’s when someone from the suspect’s vehicle fired two shots.

The bullets hit the police officers’ vehicle. Thankfully, no officers were injured and the chase ended.

WMC reports that police said one of the suspects jumped out of the vehicle and ran into a wooded area.

Later, two suspects were seen on a Ring doorbell camera at Highway 178 near Red Banks, Mississippi.
