Missing and Endangered Alert Issued for Missing 4 And 5-Year-Old From Jackson

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) has issued a Missing and Endangered alert for two young children, 4-year-old Jatavis Rattler, and 5-year-old Montavious Rattler, who were last seen on Thursday, August 15, around 3:00 p.m. in Jackson.

The two boys were last seen in the 100 block of North Hill Street in Hinds County, driving in an unknown direction on Northside Drive. Both children have black hair, brown eyes, and are approximately 2’ 04” and 3’ 04” in height, weighing around 30 lbs each.

Jatavis and Montavious Rattler are believed to be accompanied by their non-custodial mother, Montreanna Fenjewel Rattler, described as a Black or African American female, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. They are also thought to be with Jerrell Lamont Lynch, a Black or African American male, 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Authorities believe the group may be traveling in a dark gray Audi sedan with an unknown tag.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jatavis and Montavious Rattler is urged to contact the Jackson Police Department immediately at (601) 960-1234 or call 9-1-1.

The MBI is working with the Jackson Police Department to locate the children.
