Miss Mississippi Vivian O’Neal and Miss Mississippi’s Teen Nataleigh Nix left Jackson Saturday morning to compete for the titles of Miss America and Miss America’s Teen in Orlando.
For the first time ever, both the miss and teen competitions will take place during the same competition week. Vivian and Nataleigh will spend the next week enjoying the sites of Orlando, meeting other titleholders from across the country, and competing for the title of Miss America and Miss America’s Teen.
Miss Mississippi and Miss Mississippi’s Teen arrived in Orlando Saturday afternoon and went straight to the host hotel for check-in and orientation, then participated in a welcome dinner luau.
Vivian and Nataleigh will be competing for thousands of dollars of scholarship money, a generous prize package, and the titles of Miss America and Miss America’s Teen.
Miss America, the iconic competition celebrating over a century of empowering young women, proudly announces a number of branded events. Each event will feature official partnerships such as Jovani Fashion Ltd., the esteemed evening wear brand, Rebel Athleticwear, the launch of the new publication Officially HER, and a new take on the talent competition – Miss America’s Got Talent!
The weeks’ events will be live streamed at WatchMissAmerica.com. The streaming bundle includes all Preliminary Competitions and Teen Finals with exclusive bonus coverage of events like the Red Gala Fashion Show. The streaming bundle for the entire week costs $99 and includes access to the content LIVE and Video on Demand.
The Miss America Finals will be FREE to the general public to watch for the first time since 2019. Miss America’s official channel WatchMissAmerica.com will carry the Finals LIVE on Sunday, January 14th at 7:00 pm ET.
