Meet sweet Red! He is our Darkhorse Dog of the Week.

Are you looking for a loving new addition to your family? Red is a true superstar from the Brookhaven Animal Rescue League who is eagerly waiting for his forever home. The shelter said that Red has proven himself to be a fantastic companion, especially at off-site adoption events where he charms everyone he meets.

Red is a friendly dog who never meets a stranger. He gets along wonderfully with people of all ages and loves to sit in your lap. He gives the best hugs and leans into you for comfort. Red even enjoys sitting in chairs, showing off his laid-back personality.

Red is great with other dogs, making him an ideal addition to a multi-pet household. He loves chasing cars, so the shelter said he would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard or with someone who can keep him leashed during walks. Speaking of walks, Red is a pro at walking on a leash and he rides well in cars, making him a perfect travel buddy.
