The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) has announced the opening of its Wildlife Management Area (WMA) draw hunt applications for waterfowl.
The application period is currently open and will close on October 15.
Those interested in applying must hold a valid WMA permit unless they possess a lifetime license, senior exempt license, or youth-exempt license.
Applicants are reminded that after purchasing a new license or WMA user permit, they should wait 24 hours before applying for the draw hunt to ensure their information is updated.
For those looking to participate in this year’s hunts, applications can be submitted at MDWFP Draw Hunts.
