Man Who Shot Two At St. Paddy’s Day Parade Sentenced To Life In Prison

 Jordan Cummins, the man who shot two people at the Jackson St. Paddy’s Day Parade has been sentenced to life in prison.

According to WLBT, he received life in the custody of the MDOC for two counts of first-degree murder.

Last year, Cummins killed 27-year-old Joshua Spann and 23-year-old Auden Jubilee Simpkins.

WLBT said the jury reached the unanimous decision after two hours of deliberation.

The shooting happened on Jefferson Street around 1 p.m. Saturday, March 25, during the festivities surrounding the Hal’s St. Paddy’s Day Parade.
