On Sunday, July 28, Jackson Police responded to the 300 block of Alta Woods Blvd regarding an Aggravated Assault.

When officers arrived, they learned the victim had gotten into an altercation with his daughter’s boyfriend.

The boyfriend shot at the victim with a small caliber handgun. The bullet ricocheted, grazing the victims face. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim left the hospital to avoid contact with law enforcement. No charges were filed.
