A man in Jackson went missing after he went for a walk around noon in the Belhaven neighborhood.

Dau Mabil is 6’1 and 37-years-old. He is a black male and weighs 145 pounds.

He did not bring his phone with him on the walk and he never returned home.

When he left on the walk, he was wearing a yellow fleece hoodie and black athletic pants with a white stripe.

According to Jackson restaurant owner Jeff Good, he has had a long-term relationship with Mabil. He said that Dau Mabil first came to Mississippi as one of the Lost Boys of Sudan.
