A North Carolina man died Monday when his vehicle hit the back of a semi-truck.
According to MHP, on Monday, August 14, at approximately 9:15 a.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a deadly crash on Interstate 10 in Harrison County.
A 2020 GMC pickup driven by 25-year-old Jaelen Dalaun Baker of Fort Bragg, NC, traveled east on I-10 when it collided with the rear trailer of a 2019 International tractor-trailer driven by 62-year-old Steven Sutton of Houston, TX, that was stopped in eastbound congested traffic.
Jaelen Baker died in the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene.
This crash is being investigated by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
