A 20-year-old man was shot to death on Medgar Evers Boulevard following a dispute with a 44-year-old suspect.

According to Jackson police, the victim, who was in a vehicle at the time of the altercation, was fired upon multiple times by the suspect, who was reportedly on foot.

Following the shooting, the victim managed to drive to a nearby gas station located at 6709 Medgar Evers Blvd, where he died.

The suspect, identified as 44-year-old Joseph Greenfield Antonio was taken into custody.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident, which is in its preliminary stages.
