On May 4th, the Oxford Police Department responded to a call on Christman Drive that there was an ongoing burglary that could be seen on the owner’s security camera.

Officers were able to locate the suspect, later identified as 28-year-old Jesus Antonio Torres Aguilar of Oxford, on the scene.

Aguilar was arrested and charged with Burglary-Breaking and Entering Dwelling House or Inner Door of Dwelling.

He was taken before a Municipal Court judge for his initial bond hearing and was issued a $10,000 bond.
