On July 25, officers with the Tupelo Police Department responded to The Oaks Apartments on Green Tee Road in reference to a report of shots fired.
When officers and detectives arrived, they gathered multiple pieces of evidence and witness statements.
23-year-old Keenan Myles was taken into custody by the police department and charged with Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling and Shooting into a Motor Vehicle.
On July 26, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir ordered Myles to be held without bond. These charges will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
