Man Arrested For Allegedly Threatening Life Of City Of Tupelo Employee

On August 17, a City of Tupelo Employee reported being the victim of retaliatory threats that were made towards them in the course of them doing their job.
These threats included threats to life.
After further investigation, 36-year-old Michael R. Cox (of Tupelo) was arrested for Retaliation Against a Public Servant or Witness.
Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen ordered Cox to be held on a $30,000 bond. This case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury
