Man Arrested For Allegedly Looking Under Women’s Bathroom Stalls In D’Iberville Walmart

According to D’Iberville Police, a man was arrested on Wednesday for looking under bathroom stalls in Walmart.

Chief Shannon Nobles said that 20-year-old Jesler Jairo Perez from Guatemala was arrested for three counts of voyeurism.

Police responded to a call about an individual in the women’s bathroom in the Walmart on Sangani Boulevard at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said the girls ran out of the bathroom to call

When officers got there, they spoke with a parent who said her daughter and two other girls went to the bathroom. While they were in the stall, they saw what looked like men’s feet in the stall next to them.

One of the girls said that the male began looking under the stall into theirs.

The girls ran out of the bathroom to tell their mom and she went into the bathroom and opened the stall to find a man in the process of securing his pants.

A patron of the store said they heard a commotion coming from the bathroom upon checking, the parent told him what happened.

Perez was arrested and charged with three counts of voyeurism.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Detainer was placed on him.

Later, Perez was taken to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.

His bond was set at $75,000, he was held with no bond on the ICE Detainer pending an initial appearance.
