The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that happened at a gas station Thursday morning.

The robbery happened around 3:00 a.m. at the State Line Fuel Center in New Hope Comunity of Lowndes County.

After an investigation, officers learned that two black males entered the store wearing masks, gloves, and brandishing handguns.

They demanded money from the register and the store clerk obliged, opening both registers in the store and giving the suspects money.

The suspects left on foot and nobody was injured in the incident.
