Alejandro “Alex” Hernandez, a longtime manager of a local restaurant, was arrested by the Attala County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday, July 10. The arrest follows a weeks-long investigation conducted by the Attala County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Mississippi Bureau of Investigations.
Hernandez faces two charges of child exploitation and is currently being held at the Leake County Correctional Facility. The investigation revealed that Hernandez used social media and text messaging to commit these sexual crimes.
Authorities believe there may be additional victims and urge them to come forward, ensuring that various support resources are available.
