The Jones County Sheriff’s Department is actively searching for Ashley Smith, a 16-year-old reported as a runaway.
Ashley Smith is described as a white female, approximately 5’4″ tall, weighing around 130 lbs, with brown eyes and sandy blonde hair. She was last seen in the Pleasant Ridge community on Sherwood Forest Road on Friday. At the time, she was wearing a tan shirt and dark pants featuring a New Orleans Saints logo.
Her runaway status has been entered into the FBI’s National Crime Information Center (NCIC), alerting law enforcement agencies nationwide.
