Jackson police are investigating a homicide that took place Saturday on Medgar Evers Boulevard.
A release from Jackson Police Department says detectives learned that someone was shot in the 4400 block of Medgar Evers Boulevard and died on scene.
The victim was identified as Jacobi Austin. His next of kin has been notified.
