A man was fatally stabbed in Jackson on Wednesday, and his alleged killer is in custody.

Police say the stabbing occurred in the 4900 block of McWillie Drive. Upon arrival on the scene, detectives learned that the victim was stabbed multiple times. The victim died in the stabbing and his vehicle was taken during this incident.

The vehicle was located at 201 Boling St. at the Crown Motel sometime thereafter, and suspect Quadriana Lyles was located inside one of the rooms. She was arrested and charged with Capital Murder in connection with his death.
