On Tuesday, August 13, the Jackson Police Department began to investigate a homicide that happened on Belvedere Drive.
The victim has not yet been identified.
The victim was shot at the scene and later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Jackson police arrested a man named Jefferson Alverez and charged him with Capital Murder.
