On Monday, Jackson police arrested a homeowner on charges of aggravated assault.
Bradley Wellborn was arrested on Cedarhurst Drive this week, after an incident on his property.
Wellborn allegedly shot one of two intruders on his property, according to sources close to the situation, but police are not releasing further details at this point. Wellborn told WLBT that the suspect was in his shed and pulled a baton on him. That’s when Wellborn allegedly shot him.
A female accompanying the would-be thief was also detained.
