A Jackson flower shop has been celebrating a day called Good Neighbor Day for 29 years now.
This special day takes place tomorrow, September 13th beginning at 8:00 a.m.
Greenbrook Flowers will give away a dozen roses to anyone who comes into their shop on Wednesday. They want you to keep one of the roses for yourself, and give away the 11 other roses to neighbors and those around you.
The tradition started in 1994 and has now become an international day of friendship and love.
Good Neighbor Day has locally evolved as a way to help animals. Donated items are raffled, and all proceeds, along with other donations, are given to the Animal Rescue Fund of MS (ARF).
Greenbrook Flowers is located at 705 North State Street in Jackson beginning at 8:00 a.m. until all the roses are gone.
