The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred Saturday night in the Gulf Park Estates community, according to WLOX.
Sheriff John Ledbetter reported that deputies responded to multiple calls about shots fired around 9 p.m. in the area of Meadowlark and South 4th Street.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered an SUV parked in a driveway that had been struck by multiple bullets. Shell casings were recovered at the scene. No injuries were reported.
