Hattiesburg police seek suspect in several arrest warrants

The Hattiesburg Police Department has issued multiple active arrest warrants for Timmy Ray Woods, 45, of Hattiesburg, due to his involvement in several criminal offenses over the last week.

On Wednesday, Jan. 31, Hattiesburg Police responded to three incidents where Woods was determined to be the primary suspect. Two of the incidents involved indecent exposure and one was related to drug paraphernalia.

Shortly after learning of the incidents, Hattiesburg Police found Woods in the 300 block of 4th Avenue, where they arrested and charged him with one count of indecent exposure and one count of controlled substance: paraphernalia. He was booked into the Forrest County Jail.

After his release, on Saturday, Feb. 3, Woods entered two different homes in the 1900 block of Evergreen Lane between 12:50 a.m. and 1:30 a.m.

Woods is also the primary suspect in connection to two additional trespassing incidents that occurred on Monday, Feb. 5 — one occurred at approximately 10 a.m., in the 100 block of East 5th Street; and the other in the 6000 block of US 49 at approximately 2:30 p.m.
