A Hattiesburg man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of copper theft.
According to Hattiesburg Police Department’s Facebook page, Richard Schleppi, 49, of Hattiesburg, was arrested in connection to a copper theft incident that occurred in the 1400 block of Broadway Drive in March 2024.
Schleppi was charged with one count of Grand Larceny and one count of Felony Malicious Mischief and booked into Forrest County Jail.
