Early this morning, 45-year-old Kenneth Taylor Jr., was arrested by deputies from the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) on warrants for attempted murder and armed robbery.

The arrest took place just after midnight at a hotel on the 100 block of Westover Drive in Hattiesburg.

Taylor, who was wanted by the Purvis Police Department, was taken into custody without incident. He is currently being held at the LCSO Jail.

The LCSO commended all the officers involved for their swift and coordinated efforts in apprehending Taylor.
