A Biloxi man is behind bars on charges of home repair fraud after allegedly taking a payment and never starting the work.

On Tuesday, Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson announced the arrest of 52 year old Marcus Lloyd Klausman who resides at 16461 Beraga Street in Biloxi, MS on one felony count of Home Repair Fraud.

According to Peterson, a victim reported to the Harrison County Criminal Investigations Division that he hired Marcus Klausman, the owner of Rockin The Coast LLC to do remodel work at his residence. The victim said he paid Marcus Klausman over $6,000 dollars for the remodel and Klausman never started on the work. Investigators obtained a warrant for Klausman’s arrest.

Klausman was picked up on the warrant at the Beau Rivage Casino and booked into the Harrison County Adult Detention Facility on one count of Home Repair Fraud.

Klausman is being held in lieu of a $50,000 dollar bond set by Justice Court Judge Damon Reese.
