George County deputies seek stolen tractor/trailer

Have you seen this tractor and trailer? It was allegedly stolen from George County earlier this month.
Authorities on the coast are looking for a stolen tractor and trailer.
On Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, at around 5:30 p.m., George County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a stolen tractor and trailer in the 200 block of Sandford Drive, in the Bexley community.
The owner reported that the tractor and trailer were last seen on the property on Wednesday, September 13th. The tractor, a green 2019 John Deere 4052R Compact Utility Tractor, also had a Frontier RC2060 bushhog attached to it, and both appeared to have been loaded onto the owner’s 2020 Barrentine 6’10” x 22’ car hauler trailer.
The trailer has a black frame and wooden deck, and has recently had D-rings welded down each side for tie downs. A picture of the stolen tractor and trailer is included with this release. This investigation is ongoing, and no suspect information is available as of this release.
