The long duration of significant heat in the upper Delta region is resulting in an extreme risk there for heat related illnesses. Make sure to stay hydrated, avoid strenuous outdoor activities, if possible, and take frequent breaks if working outdoors.

It will be hot and humid again today with partly sunny skies and a low chance of storms in the northeast this afternoon. High temperatures will be in the upper 90s to near 100 degrees.
