Cloudy and rainy weather is likely across the forecast area today, with periods of moderate to heavy rain possible at times. The rain and clouds will keep temperatures mostly in the 70s through the day, however northern Mississippi and southeast Arkansas could still warm into the lower 80s.
Chances for rain will decrease from north to south through the evening as a cold front moves into our forecast area, however a few showers are still possible along the front overnight. Temperatures should cool into the mid 60s at most locations.
