WTOK reported that the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) confirmed a two-car crash in Winston County on Thursday night that resulted in the deaths of two adults and four children.

According to Winston County Sheriff Mike Perkins, the fatal head-on collision occurred east of Louisville on Highway 14 near Bobo Ming Road at approximately 10:27 PM.

The drivers involved in the crash were identified by MHP as 22-year-old Laqerious Brown, of Macon, and 25-year-old Sara Batchelor, of Sebastopol.

The identities of the children and other passengers in Batchelor’s car have not been released. However, MHP confirmed that the victims included three girls (ages 16, 3, and 1) and one 3-year-old boy.

All six individuals tragically died at the scene. The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
