Four Arrested After Drive-By Shooting In Gulfport

On June 10, the Gulfport Police Department arrested the following suspects in a recent drive-by shooting.
  • D’Andre Joshua Willis, 17, was charged with four counts of Drive-By Shooting.
  • Jeremy LaCarl D’Wayne Myles, 17, was charged with four counts of Drive-By Shooting and one count of Aggravated Assault.
  • Jabaree Martel Winters, 17, was charged with three counts of Drive-By Shooting
  • Jahygiem Prince Posey, 16, was charged with three counts of Drive-By Shooting and one count of Aggravated Assault.
On June 10, at approximately 5:32 p.m., officers responded to the 13000 block of Dedeaux Road in reference to a shooting. Detectives from the Anti-Crime Unit were in the area and witnessed part of the shooting.
Through the course of the investigation, it was revealed that Myles and Posey exchanged gunfire in a parking lot, hitting multiple vehicles and a residence.
Despite initially disengaging, all occupants of both vehicles later re-engaged in the gunfire exchange before fleeing the scene.
A detective’s unmarked vehicle was struck by gunfire. The detectives pursued one of the vehicles and identified the other suspect vehicle. Following a brief low-speed chase, detectives apprehended Willis and Myles.
Winters and Posey were located and arrested without incident at a nearby residence shortly afterward.
All suspects were processed and transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. Bonds were set by Judge Patano as follows: Willis at $1,000,000, Myles at $1,250,000, Winters at $750,000, and Posey at $1,000,000.
