A second former member of the Rankin County ‘Goon Squad’ was sentenced to 17.5 years in federal prison Tuesday afternoon.
Former Lieutenant Jeffrey Middleton was sentenced for his role in the torture of Michael Corey Jenkins and Eddie Parker on January 24, 2023.
Hunter Elward was also sentenced to 20 years in federal prison today.
Sentencing Schedule:
Christian Dedmon and Daniel Opdyke will be sentenced Monday, March 20 at 9:00 a.m.
Joshua Hartfield and Brett McAlpin will be sentenced Tuesday, March 21 at 9:00 a.m.
