The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Quentin Bryant of Flowood.

ORIGINAL STORY:
Flowood police are working to determine the identity of a man who was fatally struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning.

According to Cheif Eric Zetterholm, around 3:40 a.m. officers were called to the area of Highway 25 and Grant’s Ferry where a black male had been hit by a car and killed. Zetterholm said the man was wearing only pajama pants and no shoes when the incident occurred. He didn’t have any identification with him.

Detectives are talking to witnesses and reviewing video from the area. They were able to identify the vehicle they believe hit the victim, and they stopped it in Scott County. Kaden Hannah, 19, was taken into custody on a charge of hit and run causing a fatality.
