Arrest Made in Gardens of Manship Shooting
On the evening of September 8, 2024, at 9:01 p.m., Flowood Police officers responded to a 911 call reporting gunshots in the Gardens of Manship neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered shell casings in the road, a wooden fence riddled with bullet holes, and one residence that had been struck by a bullet.
After a thorough investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Jason Hulsman, who was arrested and charged with one count of Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling. During his initial appearance in Flowood Municipal Court, Hulsman’s bond was set at $75,000.
