UPDATE: Suspect Charged After Woman, Child Found Dead Inside Burned Home In Scott County

The suspect, James Fulgham, has been charged with two counts of capital murder, arson, and auto theft. His bond was denied.

October 10, 2:44 P.M. The suspect is in custody. Scott County Sheriff Mike Lee said that the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department apprehended the suspect.

According to Scott County Sheriff Mike Lee, firefighters found a mother and child shot to death inside a home that had burned on Wash Drive Monday night.
Volunteer firefighters responded to the fire around 8:30 p.m. Monday evening in the 500 block of Wash Drive.
A manhunt is now underway as authorities search for the suspect, 31-year-old James Fulgham.
He is from Meridian and is believed to be driving the victim’s silver Honda Accord with a big dent on the passenger side door. The license plate on the car is MS SBA8434.
He is accused in the death of Zina Williams and her 7-year-old son and should be considered armed and dangerous.
Zina Williams is believed to be Fulgham’s girlfriend.
