Eight Arrested In Car Burglary Investigation In Madison County

Eight individuals were arrested in connection to car burglaries in Madison County.

According to Captain Kevin Newman, on October 13, at 5:47 a.m., eleven vehicles were burglarized by forced entry at 2160 Main Street in Madison.

The Madison Police Department responded to the scene and began investigating.

Similar incidents were discovered in Oxford and other areas of North Mississippi. Investigators obtained information leading them to a female attempting to cash fraudulent checks at banks in Pearl, Mississippi.

With the assistance of multiple law enforcement agencies, 41-year-old Danelle Amber King and 42-year-old Matthew Arthur, both from Cleveland, Tennessee, were arrested on Hwy 49 in Richland, Mississippi.

They are being held at the Rankin County Detention Center.

The Madison Police Department continued its investigation, leading them to a house in Hattiesburg.

The Forrest County Sheriff’s Department was contacted, and three females were taken into custody after surveillance was set up on the house.

The females taken into custody are identified as 30-year old Jasmine Danielle Atkins, 29-year old Maya Marie Habersham, and 23-year old Desire Shardae Robinson, all from Florida. These three individuals are currently detained at the Madison County Detention Center.

Simultaneously, investigators with the Madison Police Department and Rankin County Sheriff’s Department located other individuals linked to the auto burglaries.

Three individuals were apprehended on Interstate 59 at the 143 exit in Trussville, Alabama.

The individuals taken into custody are 29-year old Raymone Marquis Davis, 27-year old Victor Alexander Ogiste, and 28-year old Danarious Trevon Young, all from Florida.

These three individuals are detained at the Trussville Jail in Alabama. Extradition paperwork is being filed to have them transported back to Madison.

The Madison Police Department expresses gratitude to the Richland Police Department, Pearl Police Department, Flowood Police Department, Rankin County Sheriff’s Department, Forrest County Sheriff’s Department, and the Alabama State Troopers for their assistance in capturing the suspects.
