Easy DIY Costume Ideas for Last Minute Trick-or-Treaters!

Change your mind last minute and decide to go out Halloweening? Or just been too busy to get a costume together? You can always go as a ghost, there is no shame in recycling a classic. But if you’ve got a crafty inclination and a few minutes, these ideas from around the web have given us some good ideas!!

Lumberjack Costume
A lumberjack is one of the easiest last-minute costumes out there! Just pull a flannel and some jeans from your closet and accessorize with a beanie and toy ax.

Strong Man Costume
You can pull the whole look from your closet and accessorize with a barbell made from a black plastic pipe and black balloons.

LEGO Block Costume
Transform a simple cardboard box into a cool LEGO costume using food storage containers for the studs. Then paint it any color you like! This costume will work well for kids and adults of all ages.

Soda (or Beer) Bottle Costume
Be any beverage you like! The DIY bottle cap “hat” can be made from a pie tin.

‘E.T.’ Costume
You really don’t need much more than a red jacket to transform into Elliot! And a white sheet is all you need for the easy E.T.

Cheese Costume
Have some yellow clothes? Grab two thick poster boards and some scissors and be cheesy!
