A Tunica County duo won an impressive award this week.
Tunica County Sheriff Deputy Antonio Hoskins and K9 Ramone won 1st place out of 30 dogs in the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office narcotics detection seminar this week!
The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Department teamed up with the American Law Enforcement Canine Handlers Association to host the first annual K-9 seminar. The event was a huge success with 33 teams from across the country showing up to compete.
The competition consisted of three categories including, narcotics search, bomb detection, and patrol.
The Sheriff’s Department said,
“We are so proud of this duo!”
