Our Darkhorse dog of the week is Hazel!
She is waiting for her forever home at Mississippi Animal Rescue League.
Hazel is a 9-month-old Brittany Doodle who is spayed and up-to-date on all her vaccinations.
Unfortunately, she was brought to MARL because her previous owner felt that she was too active for their lifestyle.
Hazel is a high-energy pup who would thrive in an active family with plenty of opportunities for exercise and playtime.
She is incredibly smart and loves to learn new tricks and commands, so she would benefit from a family that is willing to invest time in her training.
At the moment, the shelter says they aren’t sure how Hazel does with children or other dogs. They encourage interested families to bring their kids and pets to meet her.
It’s essential to ensure that Hazel is a good fit for your household and can integrate well with your existing pets.
One thing that is certain about Hazel is that she loves to run and play, so a fenced-in backyard would be an ideal feature in her new home.
It would give her a safe and secure space to burn off all that puppy energy and have fun.
